We bring you words in season
How often do you meditate on the word of God? Do you ever feel like you need five to ten minutes out of your busy schedule to mediate on the word of God? Would you like to understand what God is saying through the churches? Welcome to Lunch!
In this series, we go out and about to bring you words from different denominations and cultures. Our guests discuss what God is saying to the church, so we can pay more careful attention to the word of God in season.
We broadcast at lunchtime every weekday, to help you stay refreshed, amidst the hustle and bustle of the day.
Time to take a moment away from the demands of the day to get refreshed from the well of salvation?
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 (KJV).
About you
You love the Lord
You love the Lord. You want to please Him and be found in Him not having your own righteousness, but that of Christ. You want to fight a good fight of faith and be a shinning light for others.
However, you live in a jet age. There's hardly enough time to do the things you want to do. Yet, the environment attempts to sap the word, presence and peace of God from your daily living.
Lunch brings you words in season so you can stay refreshed, amidst the hustle and bustle of the day.
You serve the Lord
Are you a set man of God? Do you have a word from the Lord for this generation?
We’re here to promote your message, until we all reach the measure of the fullness of Christ.
We're here to extend your revelation to a wider audience.
Not your thing?
Perhaps you don’t even love the Lord. We’ve got something for you!
We bring you the love that sent Jesus Christ to the cross of Calvary.
Stay tuned!
About the programme
Church journalism
Lunch is a new form of church journalism that draws attention to important messages of the season. It is a voice that echoes an understanding of the times (Daniel 2:21; 1 Chronicles 12:32). It is a response to the scripture to pay more careful attention to what we have heard, so that we do not drift away (Hebrews 2:1).
We review messages to encourage Christians to run with the word. We carry out independent analysis, as the Lord prepares His body for the unity of faith, the knowledge of the son of God, and unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ (Ephesian 4:13).
We stand upon our watch
Like Habakuk, we stand upon our watch to hear what God is saying through the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers in the body of Christ. Like the Bereans, we do our research to see if those words are in line with the scriptures. Habakuk 2:1-2, Acts 17:11.
Our mission is to trumpet the prophetic voices. We keep the word in focus, so you can run with the word and fight the good fight of faith. 1 Timothy 1:18.
